Owolu's story

I'm from Lagos, Nigeria — a product designer working across mobile and web. I spend most of my time thinking hard about how digital products serve the people who actually use them.

I got into design because I was frustrated. Frustrated by apps that made simple things complicated, by products that seemed designed for the person who built them rather than the person who needed them. So I started fixing that.

I work from early research and strategy all the way through to shipped, polished interfaces. I love the messy middle — the phase where you have too many ideas and not enough constraints. That's where the best work gets made.

When I'm not designing, I'm probably reading, taking long walks, or arguing with a friend about why something on the internet feels broken.
